...to Perrin House, a beautifully renovated mansion built for the James J. Perrin family in 1865.
Located at the entrance of The Perrin Historic District in Lafayette, Indiana, this home was originally built in the Italianate architectural style with ornate details adorning a flat roof, 2 story facade. In 1890 the first major renovation was completed which added a third floor with a steep peaked roof, a long front porch and details that transformed the home closer to a Queen Anne style, something more current at the time.
